Job Description: Launched to market in 2015, we are growing rapidly and seek an innovative and dynamic digital transformation / cloud technology expert to join our team as Head of Technical Services. Working directly with the Managing Director and working alongside our Creative Director (Applications), you are required to manage the creation, growth, technical development and collaborative skills of the following expert teams:
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Cyber-Security & Compliance
  • Virtualization (Azure/AWS/AD)
  • Data Visualization
  • IP / Mobile Voice & IoT
Your role will focus on leading innovation and technical strategy across these solutions and in line with our Creative (Applications) Team to ensure consistency of thought in delivering the ISAAC Digital Transformation vision, alongside the Business Development and Retention Team. Additionally, ensuring each of your teams deliver 2nd and 3rd line support when required and to an impeccable standard, ensuring your teams become the go-to technology experts in their specific function. Existing solutions include End-User Support (largely remote, occasionally onsite), Office 365 Systems Admin (including Skype for Business, Yammer, Teams etc.), Migrations, Tenancy & Configuration, Implementation and Security. FlexDesk Virtual Desktop, Amazon Work Spaces, Azure Resources, SharePoint Online Apps and other tools from our bespoke ISAAC Oxygen range, as well as Networking and IP Telephony. As a key member of the ISAAC Leadership Team, you are expected to possess and demonstrate excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive change and support other functions throughout ISAAC. Your Attributes:
  • Track record of excellent leadership and development of a team of internal technology experts
  • Ability to see the big picture, analyse complex technical landscapes and deliver cost-effective technical solutions
  • Service oriented and customer focused with ITIL foundation qualification as a minimum
  • A good technical understanding of networking set ups & technologies (MPLS, VPN, LAN, WAN etc)
  • Able to work on own initiative with enough vision to look forward and anticipate workloads
  • Awareness of targets and constraints and ability to work to these
  • Understanding of commercial needs and an ability to demonstrate that services are cost effective

  • Experience of voice platforms (i.e. VoIP, PBX, Skype for Business)
  • Ability to apply ITIL processes to the provision of IT support
  • The ability to investigate and trouble-shoot a wide range of technical problems, with patience, resourcefulness and a desire to help
  • Microsoft operating system qualification(s) MCP, with a good working knowledge of server & desktop operating systems
  • Credible knowledge of top tier networking VPN and Cisco/Draytek Firewall, Meraki WiFi solutions, switch management and other wireless access points
  • Working knowledge of data storage systems, data backup and restoration methods, email filtering and anti-virus/security products
  • SQL Database knowledge
