A survey of UK employees carried out by Unisys revealed the importance of providing staff with the right technology if firms want to retain them and get the most out of them. Furthermore… giving employees access to the latest technologies will improve their satisfaction and increase productivity. The survey shows:
  • UK businesses that invest in the latest technologies are seen in a positive light by their employees, while organisations that lag behind with tech spread negativity throughout their workforce.
  • We are all in some way shape or form a member of staff or an employer of staff, and yes even if you are a one man band (the luxury of thinking of ideas to improve your business and then just doing it!)
The research, part of a global survey of more than 12,000 workers, found that 87% of staff at companies that are considered leaders in technology adoption are positive about their employer, while 70% at “technology laggards” are negative about their employer.
I expect we have all at some point, or more to the point, are still actively suffering from overly complex and antiquated ways of working; allied to the fact the kit you work with is not quite as modern or efficient as you would ideally like…
You will already know that easily finding, storing and sharing information is really painful at times? Or how clearly communicating internally is a drag? Or even how collaboration is impossible because all you have is email or other disjointed apps which don’t talk to each other. Or the multiple passwords you keep on a notepad or even worse a post-it or in your phone.
Outdated devices cause negativity from 56% of employees at laggard businesses, with 24% unhappy that they do not have the devices to enable them to work on the move.
We understand that and have been through it all ourselves, which is why we created the Oxygen suite. Our applications make all that easy, intuitive and amazingly user-friendly which transforms engagement and morale and boosts growth.
14% of staff at businesses that are slow to adopt the latest technology even said inadequate technology makes them want to go and work elsewhere.
Rapidly deployed and customised to fit your business, our applications are created specifically for the forward thinkers looking to move or already on Office 365. All feature automated workflows that remove the most mundane and clunky tasks from the day to day, empowering teams to do more of the things they excel at.
Imagine a world where all your business-critical applications run on a single platform, with one user name and password and a shared logic that makes day to day use straightforward and momentous.
