Yammer is an Enterprise Social Network (ESN) that is part of your Office 365 subscription. It allows for ‘Facebook-style’ communication with users inside or outside of your organisation. Yammer isaccessed via Desktop Browser, Mobile App or Desktop App.
Yammer works incredibly well for geographically dispersed organisations who require a central hub to communicate. Isn’t that Teams? No… Teams is for more immediate or instant messaging, work channels and collaboration requirements, whereas Yammer really adds value for less immediate chat and communications channels
